In the Footsteps of Paul by Ken Duncan

Follow a trailblazer’s path and see for yourself all the places that Paul visited . . .

Paul’s missionary journeys are much more than mere dotted lines on rough maps at the back of your Bible. His travels changed the world, and when you, too, follow In the Footsteps of Paul, you’ll experience those amazing journeys more powerfully than ever. The lens of renowned photographer Ken Duncan traces everywhere Paul is known to have traveled. Ken’s stunning photos, combined with Scripture and writings from noted authors, creates an exciting platform for experiencing the life and times of one of the apostles who introduced Jesus to the Roman world and beyond.

This is an incredible book!
Ken Duncan was very thorough in his undertaking. He has traveled to all the places in Paul’s early life, three missionary journeys, and his final journey to Rome.  He even includes pictures from Saint Paul’s where he (Paul, not Ken!)  is thought to have been beheaded.  Ken Duncan makes every city in in the Pauline Letters come alive in rich colors and detail. I wish i could have tagged along with the author in his travels, I would love to see these places first hand, but the pictures nearly make up for lack of personal experience!
When I ordered this book i thought it would be gift sized, but this book is a large coffeetable book. The book itself is very nicely presented and designed. I was impressed with the amazing and breathtaking pictures paired with quotes by distinguished christian writers and speakers. It’s very clear that a lot of work and research went into the making of this book.
This will make a great gift for someone who appreciates beautiful artwork and wants to actually “see” the places where Paul ministered.

The author has also written two similar photo books; Where Jesus Walked and The Passion, which i’ll add to my collection if they’re at all similar to In the Footsteps of Paul. And also a patriotic book entitled Walking with God in America.
