My Review

Wow, this is one awesome guide!  My sister stole it from me nearly from the moment  it arrived, and i only just got it back!It is chock full of pictures and descriptions of many religions of the world.

Beverley has chosen to compile the 19 most widely talked about religions that are prevalent today.  Each of those 19 are then further separated  into the subgroups of the religion. This guide is by no means exhaustive, not every single religion is touched on, which is good, as that would have taken up many more volumes.  The Guide isn’t a book that can be enjoyed in one sitting, (it’s over 720 pages PLUS 70 pages worth of appendixes) but rather is a resource for answering questions about the  details of a particular religion. Most people will have heard about or some in contact with the religions the author chose to highlight.
The greatest part of this guide for me was the illustrations, it was such a great addition to the book! The photos will make the information “stick” with me longer. I can’t wait to put this informative book to good use!
